It’s that time of the month where I talk about how much I love the Allure Beauty Box. I look forward to this box every month and feel that it is the superior beauty subscription service.
For $10 a month you can’t beat it! I am always impressed with the products and the size of them.
When I opened the box I was instantly attracted to the Oribe Free Style hairspray. Oribe products are extremely luxurious – I have never been disappointed by Oribe. This is a 1.0 oz sample which is the perfect size, in my opinion, to throw in my purse when I’m on the go. Also, this size sample will really let you get a feel for the product to know if you want to purchase the full size.
I am super excited to try out the Simple hydrating gel cream. Also, 1.7 fl oz is such a generous size! Side note, I used to receive the Ipsy subscription but each month would be so frustrated with the extremely tiny sample sizes so eventually, I canceled. I love Simple, the ingredients are very gentle on my dry skin.
I find that Allure also has really good timing with products also… I got a sample of the La Roche-Posay Sunscreen. With Allure, you’re never going to receive a product that isn’t in season. I really need to commit putting on sunscreen daily (yes even when it isn’t summer time).
I have received Laneige samples before and have loved them! The brand isn’t super pricey either which is great because we can’t always be purchasing super high-end products (no matter how tempting it is!) Laneige is a South Korean brand that focuses on ultra hydrating products – I love the Eye Sleeping Mask!
I got a sample of the Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Foundation which I am kinda excited about because I haven’t used this foundation in years and since my skin has changed since then I am hoping for good results! I am not too thrilled with the size of the sample, maybe I’ll get 2 uses out of it – but we’ll make do!
Everyone can use another eyeliner, I got the Eyeko Eye Do Liquid Liner. Here’s the thing, I love the Elf Liquid Eyeliner and the Jordana Cat Eyeliner. If you didn’t know that they are drugstore products you would think that they are high end – they are seriously amazing and my all-time favorites, but I am excited to try another eyeliner to see if it compares to my super inexpensive eyeliners! 🙂
Lastly, I received the Make Up For Ever Artist Rouge Creme Lipstick in shade C211. I really don’t like receiving these lipsticks because they are SO tiny that you can’t even use them. This sample is something that should be in an Ipsy bag – no shade to Ipsy but they do give extremely small samples usually.
Let me know what subscription services that you love!
Love you all bunches, thank you so much for keeping up with me!! 🙂
