Hello again! Do you have a handful of blogs that you follow purely for fun? That’s right, I’m not talking about the blogs that you follow because you feel like you “should”, or because they relate to your niche, or because you know the blogger, or because omg-like-everyone-else-you-know is following them. Nope, I’m asking — what blogs do you follow just because you totally enjoy them??
I really try to engage with all of the blogs that I follow, but there are definitely some blogs that I always look forward to reading. I follow a variety of blogs, some that are very well known and some that only have a couple hundred followers. Regardless, all of the blogs that I follow, I do thoroughly enjoy – but here is a list of my current favorites who bring ample joy to my life!

I absolutely love Lauren’s blog, you don’t find many people on the internet who aren’t afraid to be their authentic selves. She is, according to her blog, a twenty-something year old who loves traveling, coffee shops, Friends (the show, I’m sure she loves her actual friends also), her King Charles Cavalier – who is absolutely adorable, and staring at snowglobes – I totally feel like long lost sisters because I love snowglobes way too much! Also, her tweets always have me cracking up or nodding my head in agreement to what she has to say. No seriously, I find myself home alone and I’ll be reading her tweets and all of a sudden I’m nodding my head or saying out loud “you tell em’ girl!”. I can’t be the only one who does this! I especially love her travel posts. I mean sure reading about all of her travel adventures can be kinda dangerous – I quickly find myself on Skyscanner looking to book a flight to some place that I have actually never had a desire to go to until I read her blog post about it. Oh, also! Lauren isn’t a fashion blogger but I totally think she should start because I find myself loving her outfits and always wondering where she got specific pieces from! So Lauren, if you’re reading this, you should definitely think about doing a blog post or two dedicated to fashion! I highly recommend you visit her blog (linked above), her twitter, and instagram!
I have been a huge supporter of Becca’s blog since before I started blogging. She is a Seattle Copywriter and Art Director and has the cutest pug! I love every aspect of Becca’s blog, but always feel especially passionate about her posts dedicated to health. Becca wrote a beautiful piece on How To Support Your Loved One With Mental Illness – everything Becca writes is so well articulated and captivating. I don’t know Becca on a personal level but hope to someday, she is someone who I look up to in the blogging community! Other than Health, she also blogs about Food (yum!!), Travel, and Handbags! You guys need to check out all of her socials, the pictures she takes are so beautiful!
Seriously you need to check out all of Becca’s socials because she deserves all of the followers in the world – simply put, she is a breath of fresh air in a community that can be very clouded.

The creative individual behind Makeup Sessions is Beti, who is a makeup and photography lover! Something that I love about her blog is that she never puts out half ass content! I always read her posts from beginning to end & sometimes two or three times! She is someone who I never find myself questioning if they’re being honest about products. I really admire her passion and love for makeup and beauty products. The pictures she takes for her blog are so aesthetically pleasing, I find myself wanting to print them out and hang them up around my apartment! I would link a favorite piece of content from her but seriously every post from her is my favorite! Ya’ gotta follow her on all of her socials, you won’t be disappointed! Twitter , Facebook , Instagram , Pinterest
Another blogger who takes some of the most aesthetically pleasing pictures! Throughout the past few years, I have found myself becoming more passionate about skin care products and that is how I stumbled upon Kate’s blog, The Skincare Diary. Kate blogs about all things related to skincare – product reviews, K Beauty, and professional treatments. There is something about the way that she writes that when I am reading her content it feels like I am connecting with a friend! A friend that won’t steer me wrong with their skincare suggestions! Even though Kate has a very specific interest area, you should still check her out even if skincare isn’t your thing, she puts out incredible, informative, and honest content! Here are the links to her socials, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Youtube!
I don’t talk about it much on my blog, but I am convinced that the moment I was born I decided to be a New York Yankees fan – and no not because I live in New York. Anywayyy, that’s sort of is relevant to how I found Faith’s blog! Her boyfriend is part of the Yankee’s organization and of course, what does a passionate sports fan do? Knows everything about the players basically… it sounds super weird and creepy now that I am typing it … merp. Whatever, I stumbled upon Faith’s Instagram a while back and something stood out to me – besides her stunning outfits, she just seemed to be a super down to earth individual! She is definitely more active on her Instagram, which is filled with beautiful outfits, fun adventures, and cute witty posts! Her blog is a mixture of lifestyle, beauty, and spiritual work. There is a way that she goes about her religious/spiritual portion of her blog that is captivating – I know religion can be a touchy subject, but she addresses it gracefully! I have messaged her a few times and she just seems like a very wholesome and kind individual with wonderful insight and experiences to share with the world! Be sure to check out her Instagram and blog!
Kiersten’s blog brings me so much joy because she travels all of the time and shares her experiences with her followers. She doesn’t just travel here and there, she has been to over 50 countries! Her blog is so interactive, I could spend hours reading her stories! What I specifically love about her blog is that she is really helping and empowering women to travel more & to travel alone – something that I have always wanted to do but still haven’t gotten the courage to do!
Yes, The Blonde Abroad is a travel blog, hence the name, but she offers so much more content to her followers, such as insight into fashion, festivals, food and so much more! You don’t want to miss out on the content she puts out into the world, it will make you want to stop whatever you’re doing and plan a trip! She has some of the most entertaining content, check out her Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, and Pinterest!
One of my first blog followers and one of the first blogs that I followed. The Nerdy Lion, ironically I don’t know their name, not because I am a shitty follower, but more or less because they have never mentioned it before. Nevertheless, The Nerdy Lion has a very special place in my heart. “This page is meant for those who are following a life they might not have chose. So please join me in learning to roar again, so we can be happy forever, and ever my friend.” I have found so much comfort during good times and bad times throughout the pages of this blog. The blog has a heavy focus on mental health and ways to better yourself, help others, and change the stigma against mental illness. There have been times where I have felt absolutely alone in this world and read a post from The Nerdy Lion and feel like I can breathe again because at least one other person in this world gets it. Please check them out and show them tons of love because they are always putting out love into the universe. Here are links to their Blog and Facebook!
Dr. Perry is super well known in the blogging community, specifically the mental health/psychology blogging community. I don’t think there is a post that I haven’t read from Dr. Perry. I love the insight and knowledge he brings to the community. He provides honest and level-headed insight into difficult topics that need to be talked about more. It is nice to read a post and feel comfortable leaving a comment, regardless if it is a question or statement – I have never felt attacked by his community. You know that there are some blogs that you just don’t feel comfortable enough commenting on because of the atmosphere of their community. Be sure to follow Dr. Perry on his blog if you want to bring some joy to your life!
The Little Fears was my first subscriber and has stuck around ever since! I honestly don’t know how to categorize or sum up into proper words what Little Fears actually is so I am going to copy & paste how they describe themselves!
“LittleFears.co.uk you will find tales of love, monsters, drones, hot air balloons, and frogs. Blues dog chases a man on a bicycle; Smoke opens a chicken brothel; Spider eats a cuppa soup; Red stares at a rock; Frog suffers from paranoia. Written and posted with scruffy illustrations daily on these brief vignettes chronicles the daily lives of the Fears and their adventures. With only a sense of whimsy and a deep love of old British comedy and classic Hammer horror, the Fears will make you groan, cry, laugh and then groan some more, in a truly original, unoriginal, digital, analogue, work of art and fiction”
You may be wondering how I get joy from this blog when I can’t even describe it, but I think that is why I get so much enjoyment from them! There is something so organic and intriguing about this blog that I haven’t found anything else like them! Here are links to their twitter and blog! Thank you Little Fears for bringing me joy & entertainment since day 1 of my blog!
