I love purchasing new products to try out but find that I am always doing so during a late night online shopping spree… Once I get a little sleepy I instantly go online shopping lol, it’s a blessing and a curse.
I placed an order with Sephora & Ulta and patiently waited 3 days for the packages to arrive.
- Kopari Save Face Oil. I purchased it on Ulta for $44. I saw that it had 5 stars so I was naturally intrigued. The description claims that the Save Face Oil is a face moisturizing, makeup-removing, split-end-softening powerhouse. I love all things moisturizing so I instantly added it to my cart. My initial reaction to this product is kind of mixed… The bottle is cheap in my opinion. This oil is definitely on the drier side – think Tarte Maracuja Oil. I was expecting it to be more of a wet nourishing oil. Nonetheless, it feels good on my skin but feels even better in my hair. My hair is so incredibly soft and healthy looking because of this product. I totally recommend this to anyone who has dry/normal skin and dry/damaged hair!
- I purchased the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask because it intrigued me. There are tons of face sleeping masks on the market but I haven’t seen many specifically for your lips. I purchased it on Sephora for $20. For the amount of product you get, the price is justified. The description of this product is a leave-on lip mask that soothes and moisturizes for smoother, more supple lips overnight. I have used this a few times already and yes it definitely does give some moisture back to your lips but no I don’t think it makes your lips ultra supple and smoother over the period of one night. I do find that the more I use this the more hydrated my lips feel but it is definitely not an overnight miracle for chapped lips.
- I have seen so many people talking about the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask – possibly because they recently sent out PR? Anyway, there is a lot of hype about this product so I had to purchase it. It claims to be a skin-smoothing, radiance-boosting sleeping mask with watermelon and hyaluronic acid for post-facial results, all in one jar. That is a lot to live up to for just one product. I am so excited to try more Glow Recipe products because of how much I love this sleep mask. I used it as the last step in my night time skincare routine and was a little skeptical about how impactful it could be after being layered on top of other products. I woke up the next day feeling so moisturized and I actually looked decent when I looked in the mirror – I can’t be the only one who looks like a hot mess when they wake up… Anyway… if you purchase anything this month, I totally recommend purchasing this product. Also, Glow Recipe is vegan-friendly and cruelty-free!
- Lastly, I splurged on the Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Night Oil, which I purchased on Sephora. I just recently used up all of my Juno Hydroactive Cellular Face Oil (Love it) and decided to check out another night time oil. The price for this is pretty steep at $55 for .5 oz. The product claims to be a next-generation retinol oil that boosts the look and feel of skin plumpness, while improving the appearance of wrinkles, redness, and pores for visibly younger-looking skin. Honestly, I woke up the next day feeling really nice and without a doubt, less red than I normally am. I also felt much more moisturized than normal. I feel like with Sunday Riley products they need to be used consecutively for you to see quality results. I am super excited to continue incorporating this into my night time routine.
Let me know if you have tried any of these products, I would love to know your opinions!
Thank you so much for KUWK! xoxo
